Kate is a specialist in the assessment and integration of higher education student services including financial aid, bursar, and student accounts. She has presented frequently on national student aid and higher education issues at professional conferences, such as COHEAO, PDG, NASFAA, NCHELP, and COFHE. Prior to joining Maguire Associates in 2002, Kate served as Executive Director of Student Financial Services at Columbia University, Associate Bursar/Alumni Services at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Director of Financial Aid at San Diego State University. She holds a bachelor’s degree from The American University and a master’s degree in student personnel from The George Washington University.
