Maguire Associates Conducts Survey of College and University Presidents for The Chronicle of Higher Education
Bedford, MA - November 3, 2005 - The Chronicle of Higher Education survey - the first of its kind in the United States to be completed by presidents of colleges that offer at least a four-year degree- was conducted by Maguire Associates this past summer. The firm was hired by The Chronicle to examine presidents' views on higher education, their jobs, and their lives. The survey uncovers concerns about the importance of financial management and fundraising in the daily lives of college presidents as well as tenure and job preparation.
