Maguire Associates Conducts Survey of College Professors and High School Teachers for The Chronicle of Higher Education
Bedford, MA - March 10, 2006 - The Chronicle of Higher Education surveys, which asked college faculty members and high school teachers to assess the preparedness of high school students for college-level work, were conducted by Maguire Associates. The firm was hired by The Chronicle to examine the opinions of professors and teachers about high school students' writing ability, mathematics readiness, and work ethic. The surveys uncovered substantial differences in the view of teachers and professors.
