Matt Maguire Joins Maguire Associates as Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management Services

Maguire Associates, a leading higher-education consultancy, has hired Matt Maguire as Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management Services. Maguire, son of company founder John Maguire, will play a senior role in managing client projects and in supporting the company’s modeling and research portfolio.

Since 2008, Maguire has served as Senior Project Manager for Fire Engine RED, a higher-education design and marketing consultancy. In that role, he helped to build the firm’s Student Search unit, growing it into a large, profitable enterprise that gave him a broad understanding of student recruitment, including search and digital marketing.

“I’m honored to start as soon as possible and am excited to begin learning the inner workings of a company that’s been with me my entire life,” said Maguire. Reporting to Enrollment VP Emily Chase Coleman, Maguire will also spearhead efforts to develop the company’s IT infrastructure to improve client service and internal communication.

Maguire, a Concord native and honors graduate of Amherst College, will start working remotely from his home in Atlanta. He’s currently completing his MBA at Emory University, where he was recently elected president of the Evening MBA program. “His management training will be a great help on the business side. In addition, his experience working with Enrollment VPs to help them meet their top-of-the-funnel recruiting goals will allow him to hit the ground running in support of our EMFASYS, EMCIT, and EMPOWR products,” said Coleman.
