What: At the 42nd Annual Institute for Chief Academic and Chief Financial Officers conference in Portland, OR, Maguire Associates’ SVP David Wuinee will participate in a session titled, “Financial Aid Leveraging: Integrated Research Can Increase Enrollment and Net Revenue.” Wuinee will share a presentation about coupling financial aid leveraging with behavioral data, predictive modeling and customized market research to help institutions shape admissions and meet specific goals.

Separately, attendees will have an opportunity to demo Maguire Associates’ EMFASYS®, the first fully interactive financial aid modeling dashboard to offer real-time reporting.

Who:David Wuinee is a Senior Vice-President and a key member of the enrollment management modeling team at Maguire Associates and works with clients interested in using financial aid and institutional aid to advance institutional goals. Past roles include VP for Enrollment Management, Director of Enrollment Services, and Director of Financial Aid. He holds a B.A. from Saint Anselm College and a master’s degree in student personnel services from the University of South Carolina.

Why: Using a wide swath of an institution’s own data, predictive modeling can help institutions leverage information about price sensitivity to optimize discount rates, reach enrollment goals and strengthen market position.
