Maguire Associates helped a large private university in the Midwest develop an institutional aid
packaging strategy that would significantly increase enrollment and tuition revenue and improve
the minority and gender balance at the institution, while maintaining academic quality.
The results were achieved as predicted:
An additional $1.5 million in net total revenue, while maintaining quality.
An increase of 10% in male enrollment.
An increase of 20%
in minority enrollment.
We also aided the college in determining the profile of students
likely to drop out in the first year. This information helped to
target enrollment efforts toward students more likely to persist.
During our second year of implementation and awarding, we were able
to further increase enrollment and revenue, while sharply reducing
the college's discount rate.
