Leslie Horst
Senior Consultant and Director, Qualitative Research Initiative
When she joined Maguire Associates in 2005, Leslie brought both research knowledge and consulting expertise to the team. She has over 20 years of experience in both qualitative and quantitative research with a particular interest in education and public policy. She has served as an Associate at Abt Associates, Inc. and a Senior Research Analyst at the Boston Public Schools. Leslie was a university faculty member in psychology and women’s studies for 10 years and has published in refereed journals, conducted grant-supported research, and presented at professional conferences. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, a master’s degree in information systems from Northeastern University, and a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Michigan. For many years, Leslie has sung with The Spectrum Singers, a chorus that performs a wide range of classical repertoire. She is also a lifelong Red Sox fan.
