What We Do
At Maguire Associates, we have a strong track record in applying research, analysis, and predictive modeling to help achieve key outcomes across an institution. These include:
- Strengthening enrollment operations and creating more robust, balanced incoming classes;
- Developing effective pricing strategies;
- Enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of student recruitment processes;
- Ensuring the best use of financial resources;
- Building institutional reputations and brands;
- Positioning institutions and their offerings positively;
- Improving student retention and satisfaction;
- Engaging alumni in all facets of institutional life;
- Strengthening relationships with other key stakeholders;
- Planning strategically for ongoing growth and success.
We work with people across the institution – including boards of trustees, president’s councils, and marketing/communications organizations, enrollment management operations, academic affairs, student life, institutional advancement, and alumni relations.
Some of our services are tactical in scope — aimed at addressing a pressing issue with immediate results; others are more strategic — helping clients envision, pursue, then achieve longer-term outcomes. None of our services is pre-packaged or off-the-shelf; rather, all are tailored to the specific needs, timetable, and situation of each client.
Our work with educational consortia helps develop common ground for the umbrella organization and the individual member institutions regarding a shared mission and identity.
Additionally, we conduct ongoing national research – studying issues, monitoring trends, and sharing insights on the college-search process from the perspective of college-bound high-school students and their parents.
